
A new beer has been introduced to help protect the Russian River. The Russian River Brewing Company named their new pilsner in honor of the river that stretches from Jenner to Willits. The Russian River 110 West Coast Pils was introduced in Windsor Wednesday. The owners of the company are giving a portion of the beer’s proceeds to Russian Riverkeeper, a nonprofit that protects and helps restore the Russian River. The name of the river is to honor the river’s 110-mile length. The label of the beer also shows an image of the historic Wohler Bridge with the Russian River flowing below.
