The USDA Forest Service is looking for wildland firefighters. They’re holding several recruitment events this month for those interested in both permanent and temporary positions in the Mendocino National Forest. The sessions will provide a chance to learn more about the jobs, meet with current staff, and get help with applying. You’ll have to travel to attend–the events are January 16th and 17th in Reno, Nevada, and January 23 and 24th in Chico.
