A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with possession of a loaded gun that had been reported stolen. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s office says they got a call about a student who reportedly brought a gun to Round Valley High. Because the school was on lunch break and the boy wasn’t in school, deputies searched the area and found him on Greely Street in Covelo. They say he was carrying the loaded pistol in his waistband–along with 10 live rounds of ammo. The teen is facing charges of possession of a gun by a minor and carrying a loaded gun in public. He was taken to the Mendocino County Juvenile Hall.
