Flooding has shut down multiple highways in Mendocino County, and the closures are still in place this morning. Caltrans says Highway 175 remains closed near Hopland, and Route 128 is fully shut down between Highway 1 and the Flynn Creek Road area near Navarro. Heavy rain from a New Year’s storm continues to impact the region under a flood watch. Officials have not given a reopening time and are urging drivers to avoid the area.
