A high-speed crash in Ukiah late New Year’s Eve ended with a DUI arrest. Police say a car jumped the curb and slammed into a vacant building near East Gobbi Street and Waugh Lane. The driver, 58-year-old Robert Hanover, had to be pulled from the wreckage by fire crews. He was taken to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley with non life threatening injuries.
