PG&E is keeping a financial relief program alive into the new year for Mendocino County residents struggling with utility bills. The Pacific Gas and Electric Company says its Match My Payment program will continue in 2026, matching customer payments up to one thousand dollars to help avoid shutoffs. Customers can qualify for multiple matches throughout the year with smaller payments. PG&E is also continuing its REACH emergency assistance program, which offers up to three hundred dollars in bill credits. More information is available on PG&E’s website or by calling the utility directly.
