PG&E customers across California are getting a small break on their monthly utility bills. The utility provider says electricity rates are dropping this month, cutting about seven dollars off the average bill, with gas bills down about a dollar. Customers on the CARE discount program will see even more savings on their electric bills. PG&E says cheaper power generation is behind the change, making this the fourth rate decrease in two years.
