Water levels up in Clear Lake after recent rains

The recent rain has pushed up water levels in Clear Lake. The USGS says the gauge is at just under 4 feet in Rumsey, up about a foot in a week, and well above the historical average for late December. Flooding worries have eased with the improving forecast, but the long-term forecast suggests a return to a stormy pattern as we head into 2026.
