The Mendocino Voice reports a joint powers authority that the city of Ukiah and four other water districts are part of could be hit with rate hikes to help pay for “maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and long-term system reliability after completing a regional rate study.” Millview County Water District, Redwood Valley County Water District, Willow County Water District and the city of Ukiah all had their finances reviewed by a consultant who says each district should consider raising their rates.
