Cal Fire says a road in the Jackson State Demonstration Forest is closed because people keep illegally dumping trash there. Forest Road 500 is a main road into the forest, but now it is closed between County Road 408 and Forest Road 600. No word on when it will reopen. Cal Fire says it will prosecute anyone caught illegally dumping garbage in the forest.
