As flooding concerns persist across the region, storm impacts are now prompting closures in the Mendocino National Forest. The U.S. Forest Service has closed more than 135 miles of off-highway vehicle routes in the Upper Lake Ranger District, along with three campgrounds, due to the oversaturated ground. Officials say the closures will remain until at least two consecutive days pass without measurable rainfall. Meanwhile, a flood watch remains in effect for Lake County through this morning as more rain is in the forecast.
