A human trafficking investigation led Humboldt County deputies to serve several search warrants this week at marijuana grow sites across the region. Authorities say they helped five victims of labor exploitation and seized thousands of pounds of illegal marijuana along with multiple firearms. One man was arrested, while investigators say others could still face charges. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
