Birdwatchers across Lake County are getting ready for a holiday tradition that’s been going strong for generations. Redbud Audubon Society will host its annual Christmas Bird Count this Saturday, and anyone can join, expert or not. Organizers say the group will meet Sunday at Kelseyville Pizza to compare notes and enjoy some fellowship. A virtual bird ID class Thursday night will help participants brush up before heading out.
