Mendocino County Supervisor John Haschak says he’s ready for a new chapter, announcing he will leave the Board of Supervisors when his term ends in January 2027. Representing the Covelo, Laytonville, and Willits areas, Haschak says family and time with his wife in Humboldt County played a role in the decision. While stepping away from the board, he says he’s not done serving the public. Haschak points to emergency preparedness and wildfire evacuation improvements as key achievements during his time in office.
