
California Attorney General Rob Bonta and 35 other attorneys general announced a settlement with Kia and Hyundai for selling cars with major security flaws, making them easy to hot wire and steal. The companies sold millions of vehicles lacking industry-standard, anti-theft technology specifically within the ignition.
