Federal Appeals Court Ordered to withdraw the National Guard from Los Angeles

A federal appeals court has ordered the Trump administration to end the National Guard deployment in Los Angeles. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Friday night that the federal government illegally continued the deployment after immigration protests had ended. The decision upholds a lower court ruling blocking the Guard from remaining in the city. The court did allow the president to temporarily retain command authority as the withdrawal moves forward.
