The Ukiah Branch Library is launching its yearly winter clothing drive, calling on the community to help keep neighbors warm. Staff are collecting clean, gently used coats and other cold-weather gear, plus new socks and similar essentials. Everything donated will be offered free to anyone who needs it through the winter. Drop-offs run through February 28 at the library, and details are available by phone.
