Lake County supervisors face a packed agenda Tuesday as two major departments continue wrestling with budget trouble and delayed reimbursements. The board will again look at the Community Development Department’s plan to repay a $390,000 county loan after the division fell far short of its projected revenue and froze hiring. They’ll also get an update on Behavioral Health’s “fiscal recovery plan,” along with a proposal to let county staff approve more bidding exemptions under the purchasing ordinance. The day also includes a public hearing on a disputed cannabis cultivation permit and updates on grant funding for new behavioral health facilities.
