A late-night wreck in Lake County sends six people to the hospital after a 13-year-old behind the wheel lost control and slammed into a telephone pole. The impact Sunday snapped the pole on Hill Road in half, and bad weather kept medical helicopters grounded, forcing everyone to be taken by ground ambulance. Several teens suffered broken bones, others had minor injuries, and even a dog was taken to a vet clinic. CHP says the young driver was speeding, unlicensed, and no one in the car was wearing a seatbelt.
