SCP has helped customers in Sonoma and Mendocino counties lower their power bills by more than $100 million since 2014 and increased renewable energy through solar, wind, and battery projects. SCP is also developing a large geothermal project to further improve energy independence and affordability. The Lake County Board of Supervisors and the Cities of Clearlake and Lakeport are now on the record, asking SCP to consider expanding into Lake County. Three public meetings in July have been offered to residents to learn more about joining SCP.
