Indian Valley Reservoir Dam, northeast of Clearlake Oaks. 150 personnel are assigned to the fire which is 30 percent contained. The first call came in around 2 PM Monday. No structures are threatened and there are no evacuation warnings or orders in effect.

In Butte County, the Park Fire is 39 percent contained, at 429,000 acres. Hundreds of people remain displaced. Humidity and temperature have been cooperating so Cal Fire is optimistic crews will continue slow, steady progress.

The Clearlake City Council meets this week. Among the items, up for discussion on Thursday, members will hear a case study from city staff about water district consolidation. The council decides if consolidation within Ukiah Valley is a good idea and what to do next. The issue was originally on the council’s plate earlier this year. Council members will also discuss a change to a 2011 agreement with a developer for a 22-lot subdivision and consider using city guidelines for tribal consultation on projects. The meeting starts at 6 PM on Thursday at City Hall and you can watch it on the social media channels.
