Clearlake Police are looking for a woman who has been missing since Saturday. 55-year-old Tammy Lynn Spaulding is white, 5 feet 1 inch tall, 148 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes It is unknown what she was wearing when last seen. Unemployment was up last month in Lake County. The California Employment Development Department puts the June rate at 5.7 percent, up from 5 percent in May. Lake County’s rate is 36th among the state’s counties. The unemployment rate was 4.9 percent in Mendocino County last month. June figures show California added more non-farm jobs for the 50th month in a row.

Another delay in the case of Suspended county Auditor Chamise Cubbison and former county Payroll Manager Paula June Kennedy. Superior Court Judge Ann Moorman plans another hearing next week to discuss evidence in the case. That evidence includes internal e-mails that may now be available. The e-mails were thought to have been lost but now, it appears they may have been saved. Some of them could involve former auditor Peter Wear who has denied any involvement in the case. Judge Moorman says she’ll get to the bottom of the complex legal questions and try to move the case ahead.

Mendocino College will share in an 18 million dollar federal grant. The Transformational Habitat Restoration & Coastal Resilience program aims to restore and recover marine ecosystems up and down the coast. Mendocino College president Tim Karas says in addition to helping the environment, the grant will help the school with its workforce development program to build what he calls a climate-resilient workforce. The Nature Conservancy will administer the partnership, which will include state agencies, schools, and other environmental organizations
