A trial date has again been set for a man accused of a double murder in Clearlake in October 2017. The Record-Bee reports 64-year-old Alan Ashmore is scheduled for a jury trial on March 4 in Lakeport.

Willits has a new sustainability policy. The city council has said yes to the policy, which is part of its energy management plan. The guidelines say the city should commit to small changes to reduce energy use
