Several more arrests in mandatory evacuation zones. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies on patrol found Fernando Mada of Nice walking on Lakeview Drive after being warned to leave an evacuation area. He told them he was looking for food and was arrested for being an Unauthorized Person in an Evacuation Area and released on a citation. Then cops found David Sparks of Nice who had been warned not to drive in a mandatory evacuation zone, so he was pulled over and detained. He was arrested with his girlfriend, but she was released and Sparks booked into jail for Unauthorized Person in an Evacuation Area. Jason Compton of Nice was busted on a bike in Nice for being in an evacuation area and saying he was buying cigarettes for a friend, but he was arrested and released on a citation. Then cops found a man on a motorcycle in an evacuated area, Bradley Bastian ran but was chased and arrested after getting in the way of fire engines. He had already been arrested once and released, now he’s charged again, adding Felony Evading, Driving Under the Influence, and Unauthorized Person in an Evacuation Area. And finally Doug Trimmer of Upper Lake and Courtney Falkowski of Kelseyville were found in an evacuated area of Nice and were cited and escorted out of the area.
